Dr. Wildes is originally from Athens, Georgia. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He then went on to earn his medical degree from The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor society.
Dr. Wildes moved to Colorado in 2014 where he completed his internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver. He then went on to complete his residency training in ophthalmology followed by a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Wildes specializes in the medical and surgical management of corneal diseases including cornea transplant procedures such as PKP, DSAEK, and DMEK. He also performs cataract and refractive surgery including femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery (FLACS), multifocal lens implants, intraocular lens exchange, LASIK, and PRK. He is dedicated to bringing the newest technologies and providing the highest quality care to his patients.
